A Girl’s Guide to Life

Author: Katie Meier

Genre: Christian/Young adult

Review: I ordered this book from Booksneeze.com, but was disappointed in it. The first chapter was on Self-esteem, an unbiblical principal in which we elevate self above others. The book did have some good things to say, but was very worldly and had sections on things you ‘don’t want to talk about with your mother’ which seems to also stress the ‘go to someone other than your parents’ thing. I wouldn’t recommend it at all, and was disappointed with it.

  1. *shudder* Some books can be so deceitful, you know, the old saying that you can’t judge a book by its cover. But if you ever happen to see it, a good book for girls is, Before You Meet Prince Charming.
I got it for my birthday last year and it’s really good.
